Innovation Circle Mid-Term Conference

From 10th to 13th of May the “Inovation Circle Mid-term“ conference took place in Alytus city. Guests from Lithuania, Norway, Poland, Latvia, Estonia, Russia and Sweden took part in this conference. Alytus City Municipality together with PI „Baltic Inovation Group“ organised this conference. “Business Angel’s” youth group helped them a lot.
The guests came on the 10th of May. Youth “angels” welcomed them at their hotels. Everyone found a little surprise – a flower of sweets in the room. While the coordinators were having a meeting, the others partners could enjoy sauna and swimming in a pool.
All guests were registred in Thursday morning. Afterwards every “Innovation Circle” project partner read report about its local projects and then discussions were started in work group.During work in different groups “Business Angel” youth present „Dzūkija Tourism“ and „Youth Entrepreneurship Network“ projects. Every partner was wellcomed to join the projects and do them transnationaly. The key points of cooperation were planed. In the afternoon Alytus Youth Centre showed a concert for the guests. Later in the evening conference’s participants had a nice dinner with Lithuanian national food, dances and songs.
The “Innovation Circle” project manager Alf S. Johansen closed the conference on Friday. That day some of the guests visited “Japan Garden” of Kestutis Ptakauskas, attended academic classes organised by Telemark Univerity or had nice afternoon in the town. In the evening everyone could participate in Karaoke party.
